Nothing like a good wine on St. Patrick’s Day?
February 20, 2009
St. Patricks Day is a festive holiday which we love at Farfalle since the owner’s “Mr.” is about as Irish as you get. For years I worked tirelessly finding the best deals on Guinness until one time he did Atkins for 2 weeks. After than two weeks, he never drank beer again!! Now he drinks red wine and I’m not sure what to make of it! Kevin Patrick Murphy….how Irish can you get! We still love a good burger at O’Shea’s Irish Pub in West Palm Beach, FL. Great old Irish bar here, but still Kevin only drinks wine. Who would have ever thunk it.
Most romantic sentiment ever!

This Valentine’s Day the most romantic sentiment ever goes to one man in Palm Beach who wrote for his wife
“My wife….
My life.
Happy Valentine’s Day,

Valentine’s Day -
February 6, 2009
History has made Valentine’s Day the ultimate celebration of Love. Started as a protest against a law to keep soldiers from getting married. Secret weddings were performed by a Priest in 1300 AD named Father Valentine. He was sentenced to Death for Treason, and during his duration in prison, the married couples would bring him notes of love and thanks and flowers. He was executed on February 14th. He was canonized by the Pope later and thus the start of “St. Valentine’s Day”. Later this became “Valentine’s Day” and the addition of chocolates were made popular as a gift.
Farfalle strives to incorporate both flowers, chocolate, sweets and of course, a note of love into each Farfalle Valentine’s Day basket.
Nowhere do baskets contain the live element of flowers along with the chocolates, cookies and anything else that seems to work in well (like Champagne!).
Please try a Valentine from Farfalle….nowhere will you find a more impinging statement of love.
